My dear hubby will turn 50 on Tuesday and I really wanted to make a very special card to honor him! So this is what I came up with! I love how it turned out! I sort of dry brushed vanilla and sky blue acrylic paints over Western Sky designer paper. I used a sponge to soak up some reinker ink and dabbed the trees before stamping over the painted surface. Then I sponged to give it that foggy feeling (sort of like my brain lately!). Then sponged reinker on the deer and pine needles before stamping again. The big deer is cut out and popped up from the top of his legs up. The bottom part is adhered right to the paper and covered up with the ribbon. The 50 inchie is attached to a small punched tag. The edges of the dp and kraft layer are distressed. I think he will like this! Even if it is a permanent reminder that he is 50! Hahaha!

So creative Sandee. You've really captured true nature in this design.
